For 3 days this week, Finn only has 4-hour sessions in school because they scheduled the Parent-Teacher Conference in afternoon. My slot was at 1.35-1.50 today, just 15 minutes with the teacher.
Academically, Finn is doing great. All the kids were assessed in September and she said that they have some sort of scoring for them (highest of 35) that by the end of the schoolyear (June), the kids should have at least 22 points and Finn already scored 25 points at the beginning of the year. Also, in all of the tests they've taken, he only made one mistake (^_^)
The only concern is sharing. It seems that Finn would sometimes hog the toys and would get upset if he needs to share so that's one thing he needs to work on. I guess that's the drawback for being an only child. Oh well, at least it's nothing major, and I'm very proud of his academics. Good job Finn!

good job Finn! mana sa daddy at mommy :D
Basti also has the tendency to be selfish. He gets upset when he sees anything that we handed down to his younger cousins - from toys to clothes. Drawback nga talaga ata yun ng pagiging only child. Sa bilis nyang lumaki, marami talaga syang things na kinaliliitan lang or mga toys na napagsasawaan so I give them out to clear his closet. There was even one time pinahubad nya sa cousin nya yung shoes na binigay na namin kasi kanya raw yun. I talked to him and told him that since the shoes were already small for him, we gave it out so other kids can also enjoy having that kind of shoes. He understood and although there are times when he still shows that selfish side, a little nudge would eventually remind him that sharing is good.
Anyway, Finn's doing great in school and that's important, really good and cool. Mana sa parents :) Keep up the great work! :)
Happy weekend!
Galing naman ni Finn!
