This morning Finn approached me and said:
Finn: Mommy, when I have a son, when I'm older, we're still gonna live in the same house right?
Me: No, by that time you'll be living in a different house.
Finn: Awww ... but I'm gonna miss you.
Me: You'll have a wife already so you're gonna live with her.
Finn: making a sad face, his eyes start to well up.
Me: That will be a long time from now, you'll be a lot older. Right now you're in elementary, and then go to middle school, and then high school, and then college. By the time you graduate from college you'll be over 20 years old. And then you're gonna work and find a girlfriend, and get married. That's a long time from now.
Finn: But are we still gonna see each other?
Me: Of course, we'll see each other, maybe every weekend.
Finn: starts crying
Isnt' he sweet? I'm sure by the time he's a teenager he'll have changed his mind about moving out (^_^) hehehe. Maybe when that time comes I'll be the one crying (T_T)

I feel totally disgusted when Basti talks about marriage like he's a grown up. He used to tell me that he'll be going out with Marimar's daughter and they'll be getting married. I really feel that he's too young to think about marriage and yet, that's one of the things he likes talking about.
Haaaay! I just hope we don't have to cry when they decide to move out na :(
finn wasn't really talking about marriage. he doesn't even like talking about having a girlfriend. i think it just struck him that we won't be living together forever (^_^)
You're right! He'll be changing his mind when he's older :D
Best to document moments like this just to prove that there are times when he didn't want to move out. Hahaha!
Seriously though, that is really really sweet.
kakatuwa naman! kung pwede lang na you take his word for it about 10-20 years from now, hehe!
That's really sweet! :) Happy Mother's Day!
